About MBSR for Tailored Programs

Stressors, both internal and external, are a part of any setting where people come together to work , play, or serve. Mindfulness tools empower individuals to meet these stressors with clarity and skill , building a culture of resilience and integrity.

MBSR inspired trainings and workshops can meet the need for continuing education, wellness programming, community education, staff training, or team retreats. The MBSR course is currently approved for CPE (continuing professional education) by the Colorado National Association of Social Workers and we will pursue approval for additional courses and professions.
We work with wellness programs to promote employee participation in community classes,as well as modify and create classes to be offered on site, exclusively to staff, volunteers, or event attendees.
Some elements that can be included: mindful communication, awareness of breathing, body scanning, mindful movement, triggers, self care, awareness of thoughts and emotions, information about stress and the body, reaction vs response, group discussion, non judgement, implicit bias, meeting difficult moments, informal mindfulness, and being trauma informed.
